Meri Kirihimete! Today we were learning about the summer learning journey. we did this because it is coming to the end of the year. for this task we watched a video to know what we were supposed to be doing. we opened our chromebooks and got on the summer learning journey site. then there was a link to a colouring in book there was an original one and NASA one witch was brand new. I was so exited to use it! I enjoyed using the new NASA colouring in book and I found it challenging to pick colours for the NASA colourings. I hope you enjoyed reading my blog post today.

Parihaka

Today I was learning about parihaka. We learnt this because on the friday of that week it was the day that parihaka happened. For this task we had to find team and make a skit or a play about parihaka. It took everybody a while to make a play and it also took quite long to make a video because everybody needed to know there part. I found enjoyed learning about parihaka because it never new what it meant and I found it challenging to do the video and know what part your doing. The Christmas holiday.

 Kia ora bloggers,                                                                                                                                     Today we were learning about narrative writing. for this task we had to watch a video that told us what we could write about. we planned our writing and published it on to a computer. do you know what diwali is?

Last week we were learning about diwali. Do you know what diwali means? For this task we had to read three books so we knew what diwali meant then we watched two videos to know what a rongali is. A rongali is a traditional indian art work that they do for diwali. For this piece of art work we watched the video and copied the drawing from the video. Then we colour it in and outlined it with a black maker. I enjoyed learning about diwali because i have never learnt about it before and I found it challenging to draw the rangoli pattern. For the past week we have been doing art. We learnt this because we were on assembly. Assembly is where the whole school gets together and one class is on assembly they host it,pick songs for it and alot more. For this task we had to take a photo, put it into a laminating pocket and trace over it. Then we made our skin tone and hair color to paint on the inside of the laminating pocket. I enjoyed learning how to mix colours I found it challenging to find the right skin tone. Did you enjoy reading my blog post today?
